Special coating recommended for waterproofing of terraces, gutters, roofs and covering roofs of cement, fibrecement, fibreglass, zinc sheet iron. Performs a rubbery film which remains flexible, waterproof and resistant to temperature changes. It is particularly suggested for repairing btiuminous sheats onto which it sticks perfectly creating a unique film. The product can be walked over only occasionally. It has been approved by “Giordano Institute” for the insulation of asbestos-cement surfaces with Certificate N.105448 of 27-01-2997. The application of 2 coats is recommended.
SURFACE PREPARATION AND APPLICATION
Cement substrates or bituminous sheats. The substrate should be perfectly cleaned, dry and wirebrushed and be free from any loose or powdery particles. Old paints in poor conditions or powdery should be mechanically removed. Exhisting traces of mildew or weeds should be removed with LINDOS DFT 16. The whole surface should be sealed with one coat of ISOLFIX or FIXACRIL. Then apply 2-3 coats of AM-PLAST GUAINA ELASTICA in order to build up a total thickness of 400-450 dry microns, allowing the required waiting time between coats.
Sheet iron. The surface should be perfectly degreased. clean and free from any trace of corrosion. Apply 2-3 coats of AM-PLAST GUAINA ELASTICA in order to build up total thickness of 400-450 dry microns, allowing the required waiting time between coats.
