K.O. is a washable wall paint formulated with highly effective anti-mould salts, for use in the harshest conditions while providing long-term protection of surfaces from mould, fungus and bacteria. This product is particularly suitable for areas which are prone to mould development, and difficult to remove with common treatments such as all those work environments that are subject to high condensation and humidity (e.g.bakeries, dairies, butcher's shop, swimming pools, etc.) When used in combination with Lindos DFT 16 this product represents a long lasting protection system against development of mould, fungus etc. keeping the premises hygienically healthier. K.O. is suitable for contact with foodstuff of V class (Min.Dec.of 21/03/73).
SURFACE PREPARATION AND APPLICATION
Walls affected by mould. Apply direct one coat of LINDOS DFT16 onto the areas affected by mould as well as to the closest areas in order to eliminate also the spores which may have laid down on the surface. Let stand for 24 hours and wirebrush the surface to remove the passivated moulds and all loose paint. Repeat the treatment if necessary. When the surface is dry apply one coat of ISOLFIX previously mixed with 10% of LINDOS DFT16. Let dry for 24 hours and apply 2 coats of K.O. allowing 24 hours between coats.
Previously Coated Walls. Any loose or powdery old paint should be removed by wirebrushing. If necessary apply on a clean and dry surface a primer coat of water-based selaer (ISOLFIX). Overcoat with two coats of K.O. allowing the required waiting period between coats. If the old paint is in good conditions, apply 2 coats of K.O. directly allowing the required waiting period between coats.
