Extra-light glass microspheres entirely of mineral composition (glass-boron-silicate) made of very tiny transparent bubbles of round shape and waterproof available in powder form. This product is mostly used as a light thickening agent (its specific gravity is 100 gr per liter) for epoxy and polyester resin with the purpose to obtain a low density and low cost assembled products. Microcel is added directly into the activated resin in the percentage of 60-80% by volume. Its addition lowers considerably the specific weight of the mixture and represents the ideal product for filling purposes.
FIRE RESISTANCE:The complete mineral composition makes of this product a non-combustible material
RESISTANCE TO CHEMICAL AGENTS:The product withstands weather agents, organic solvents and all commonly used acids and relevant vapours with the exception of hydrofluoric acid.
RESISTANCE TO BIOLOGICAL AGENTS:The product does not rot and is resistant to insects and rodents.
PRECAUTIONS: The product is not toxic although a continuous inhalation should be avoided as well as any contact with the eyes. A protective anti-dust mask and googles should be used during application. In case of contact with eyes wash immediately with plenty of water and seek medical help at once. In case of contact with skin just wash the contaminated part with fresh water and soap. If inhalated breathe in the open air.
