One component synthetic filler providing good adhesion, good filling power and good sandpapering characteristics. Used on wood, metals (previously treated with suitable primer). Recommended for light surface levelling and to smooth and make even any irregular surface. It can be overcoated with any type of synthetic paint suitable for wood and metals. SINTOFILLER is widely used for surface levelling of boats in one component coating systems and also in the wood industry and in the do-it-yourself field to fill up holes, small craters and any surface irregularity. SINTOFILLER makes all surfaces perfectly smooth and even before painting.
SURFACE PREPARATION AND APPLICATION PROCEDURE
Wood. The surface should be clean, dry and free from dust. It is always recommended a light sandpapering in order to provide a suitable anchor pattern to the filler. Any trace of resin, wax and polishing products for wood should be carefully removed by solvent cleaning or by sandpapering. Apply one coat of SINTOFILLER in thin layers where necessary by spatula taking care to make a little pressure with the spatula in order to ensure adequate penetration into the substrate. Do not apply a high thickness direct in one single coat; if a high thickness filling is requested, it is recommended to build up the thickness with several coats of thin layers, allowing few hours between coats. Let dry and follow up with the recommended coating system.
Metal. Apply SINTOFILLER over a suitable primer. Follow directions as suggested above for WOOD surfaces.
