Formulated with special resins and leafing aluminium to provide resistance to high temperature, up to 200/300°C. Easy to apply, provides good brushing and flowing properties and performs excellent outdoor resistance. It is applied over chimneys, heating pipes, stoves, boilers, industrial piping (up to 50-60°C) as well as for metal carpentry where a suitable heat resistance and protection properties are required.
SURFACE PREPARATION AND APPLICATION
Bare Steel. Bare Steel. If sandblasting is not
possible, remove all traces of corrosion by mechanical wirebrush or sanding
disk. Dust off, degrease the substrate with Nitro Thinner 107 or 900. Apply 1-2 coats
of suitable anticorrosive primer and let dry. Overcoat with 1-2 coats of
SILVERLUX HT allowing the required waiting time between coats.
Painted Steel. Remove any loose or powdery paint with a scraper and any trace of corrosion with a mechanical wirebrush or sanding disc and sandpaper with medium abrasive paper (280-320). Remove dust and degrease the surface with a cloth soaked with Thinner 107 or 900. Apply one coat of suitable anticorrosive primer on those parts brought back to bare steel and a second coat if required. Overcoat with 1-2 coats of SILVERLUX. HT.
