FOR TINTING SYSTEM USE. Neutral base for two-pack epoxy primer for steel, aluminium and cement floors. Resistant to oils, kerosene it is used as a primer and if required as a mat finish coat.
SURFACE PREPARATION AND APPLICATIONSteel. Sandblasted according to SA 2,5 is recommended. If sandblasting is not possible, the substrate should be cleaned perfectly, degreased, free from traces of corrosion and mechanically sanded. In case of pre-existing epoxy or polyurethane undercoats in sound condition overcoat with 1 coat of EPOXY PRIMER followed by 1-2 coats of POLIFOND Primer allowing the required waiting time between coats. Overcoat then with the desired topcoat.
New Galvanized Steel. The surface should be clean, dry and well degreased. Apply 1 coat of EPOXY BASED PRIMER as suggested.
Previously Painted Galvanized Steel. Remove any trace of corrosion by sanding. The surface should be clean, dry and well degreased. Apply 1 coat of EPOXY PRIMER as suggested
Fibreglass. The surface should be dry, degreased with suitable detergent material, rinsed and slightly sanded with fine abrasive paper. Apply 1 coat of EPOXY PRIMER as suggested
Cement. The surface should be clean, dry, and well seasoned free from loosing particles. Apply 1 coat of EPOXY PRIMER diluted depending on the absorption of the cement surface. Let dry and overcoat with 2 coats of EPOXY PRIMER (this can be left as a finish on floors or internal walls). For other finishing purposes overcoat with 2 coats of POLURETHANE PRIMER or EPOXY FINISH TOPCOAT.
