Epoflex S.L.

Semi-gloss enamel of good quality for direct application on well prepared metal substrate or over suitable epoxy primer. Gives a tough and flexible film with outstanding chemical and physical resistance, typical of the epoxy coatings. For external application the enamel tends to form a powdery layer on the film, typical of the epoxy coatings, which will not however affect its properties. It can be applied over appropriate primers for the coating of industrial floors providing good characteristics of general resistance.
SURFACE PREPARATION AND APPLICATION
Bare steel. Sandblasting according to SA 2,5 or application of a suitable primer is requested. Apply 1-2 coats of EPOFLEX S.L.
Painted steel.
In poor conditions: Any loose or flaking old paint should be removed. Degrease with solvent and apply one coat of suitable primer onto the bare parts of the surfaces. Allow to dry and overcoat with 2 coats of EPOFLEX S.L. If the old paint is in sound conditions just overcoat with 1-2 coats of EPOFLEX S.L.
In good conditions: If the old paint is still in good conditions of adhesion and compatible, in that case apply directly 1-2 coats of EPOFLEX S.L.
Bare wood.
Apply a suitable primer first and then 1-2 coats of EPOFLEX S.L. allowing the required waiting period between coats.
Concrete. All surfaces should be clean, dry and free from dirt or loosing particles. Apply a suitable basecoat (e.g. EPOFOND AM-9) and overcoat with 1-2 coats of EPOFLEX S.L.
