MILOS is a wall paint based on water emulsified synthetic resins, titanium dioxide and special extenders with anticondensation properties. Due to its particular formulation provides outstanding waterproof characteristica and at the same time a perspirating film preventing development of moisture in the environment. The product is therefore recommended for any type of room including those that can be subject to moisture. For best anti-mould results the ADV 70 additive can be added to the paint. MILOS can also be tinted with IDROVERNIX basic colours.
SURFACE PREPARATION AND APPLICATION
New walls. The surface should be clean, dry and free from any loosing particles. In case of particular absorbing walls it is recommended that a sealing coat of ISOLFIX is applied first, allowing 3-4 hours to dry. Apply 2 coats of MILOS (slightly more diluted the first coat) allowing the required waiting time between coats.
Painted walls.
In sound conditions: If the old paint is in sound conditions just apply 1-2 coats of MILOS allowing the required waiting time between coats.
In poor conditions: Remove any loose or powdery pre-existing paint by wirebrushing. If necessary apply a sealing coat of ISOLFIX on a dry and clean surface. Apply 2 coats of MILOS allowing the required waiting time between coats.
