SURFACE PREPARATION AND APPLICATION

Bare steel.  If sandlasting is not possible, remove loose or powdery paint by scraper and rust by mechanical wirebrushing or abrasive sand disk. Dust off and clean the surface with a cloth soaked with Thinner. Once the surface preparation has been completed apply one coat of anticorrosive primer followed if necessary by a second one. Overcoat then with 2 coats of ECO LUCIDO allowing the required waiting time between coats.

Painted steel. Remove any loose or powdery paint with a scraper, remove rust by wirebrushing or abrasive disk and sandpaper the surface with medium abrasive-paper (280-320). Dust off and clean the surface with a cloth soaked with Thinner. Once the surface preparation has been completed apply one coat of anticorrosive primer followed if necessary by a second one. Overcoat then with 2 coats of ECO LUCIDO allowing the required waiting time between coats.

Concrete/Plaster.  The substrate should be dry, clean and well seasoned. Apply one coat of ISOLFIX water-based sealer and let dry. Apply 2 coats of ECO LUCIDO allowing the required waiting time between coats.

Wood. The substrate should be dry, clean and well seasoned. Apply one coat of water-based primer or as alternative one coat of ECO SATINATO largely diluted and let dry. Apply 2 coats of ECO LUCIDO allowing the required waiting time between coats.
